A Gift from the UK
Last week a terrorist planted a bomb at one of the busiest bus stops in Jerusalem. The resulting explosion injured many and killed one woman, Mary Jean Gardner. Originally from Scotland, she was a Bible Translator studying in Jerusalem. Immediately after the explosion ZAKA volunteers struggled to save her life, but ultimately Ms. Gardner died of her wounds despite paramedics' efforts. British Ambassador to Israel Matthew Gold praised ZAKA for its dedication to providing aid “regardless of religion, sex, race, or nationality.” ZAKA's determination could serve as an example to the world.
ZAKA representatives were invited to the Ambassador's home for a modest ceremony in which he gave the organization a new device with the potential to save lives. The device, a small, technologically advanced underwater “scooter”, will help ZAKA's diving unit reach drowning victims quickly, and search bodies of water more efficiently. The device also allows divers to move quickly without expending energy, thus allowing them to save their energy for resuscitation efforts.
Roi Rachamim of the diving unit demonstrated the use of the device in Gold's backyard pool.
ZAKA was started by a group of hareidi-religious yeshiva students, volunteers, dedicated to gathering human remains from the grisly aftermath of terrorist bombings in order to allow for proper burial. This has developed into a large-scale volunteer organization that assists in search and rescue operations, disaster response, first aid, and the recovery and identification of body parts. Members of ZAKA go to disaster areas around the world to help in recovery and identification.

Facebook announced it is monitoring an Arabic social networking page calling for a "Third Intifada" against Israel, but site's decision makers say they don't believe it has crossed into incitement and will not remove it. The site has 330,000 members and advocates a mass march into Israeli territory by residents of neighboring countries. The page's administrators posted a quotation of a Hadith (Islamic tradition) that is popular with radical groups, which reads, "The hour [of redemption] does not come until the Muslim fight the Jews and even the stones and trees say, 'O Muslim, a Jew is behind me, so kill him.'"
Nope--No Incitement Here--moving along...

Hating Israel: Facebook Says That's OK!
Facebook has refused to block a page calling for a Third Intifada against Israel. You can read the entire article from Arutz 7 HERE. Although the page is written almost entirely in Arabic, a display ad in big English letters posted on the page warns, “If Facebook Blocked This Page...All Muslims Will Boycott Facebook For Ever!”
The page, Third Palestinian Intifada, urges its readers to copy the link, place it in their profiles and publish it on all pictures, videos and pages--everywhere they can. An alert announces that a march to “Palestine” will begin from neighboring countries on May 15 and soon after, “Palestine will be liberated and we will be freed. Our goal now is to reach millions of subscribers on this page before May.” *This is a direct call for war on Israel!
The page also includes inflammatory language that calls for supporters to build on the previous two murderous previous intifadas in which Arab terrorists murdered and wounded thousands of Israeli civilians. The second intifada is also called the Oslo War as it took place after the Oslo peace accords were signed by PLO leader Yasser Arafat and Israeli Prime Minister Yitschak Rabin. The notice refers readers to related content on other sites such as Twitter and YouTube.
A petition urging Facebook to remove the dozens of pages promoting hatred of Israel and incitement to kill Jews--incuding the page calling for a Third Intifada--has been started on the Internet by the Jerusalem-based Aish HaTorah Yeshiva. The Petition calls on Facebook to "remove any pages that promote hate against Israel and the Jewish people." Please Do go to This Link and Do Sign the Petition!

Chesed~An Act of Kindness
With all the horror taking place in the world one forgets to look for the good. So, here is the good story of the day. In Israel, Rami Levi is the owner of one of the country’s largest supermarket chains. He has joined in thousands of Israelis who are paying Shiva visits to the relatives of the Fogel family. But, he did not just give his condolences, he stocked the shelves of the kitchen. In his own words (he told the orphaned children, family and friends) You will have to get used to my face, Levi told the mourners and friends. I have committed myself that every week I will deliver food and stock your home until the youngest orphan turns 18 years of age

Itamar Massacre~Some Facts
This program was aired in the US on 15 March 2011. Anyone who has ever seen a new-born baby must give careful thought as to what kind of animals would carry such a heinous, bloodthirsty slaughter of innocents. More than that, what warped evil resides in the minds of those who hand out sweets and celebrate the butchering of children?
To the shame of the media the "journalistic" slant has been to imply that the family is to blame, because after all, they were "settlers". The comments being posted online are frightening. Every lie and blood-libel from centuries past has been revived. The hatred towards this innocent family "because they were Jews" is beyond sickening. It is terrifying. As Glenn says in his closing remarks "Get into the Light, and Stand in It, because evil is growing rapidly"

Natural Disasters~Palestinian Barbarism
Arutz 7 ran the article below written by Prof. Phylllis Chesler on the events unfolding in our world today. Do visit her site and read her articles and find information on her many books.It is all happening and far more quickly than even I had anticipated; and yet, the events are so surreal that they seem to be happening in slow motion, as if we are dreaming or in a really bad movie. That is because we view it all--but are helpless before it.
The natural disasters: an earthquake which may have killed more than 10,000 people in Japan and an unintended Japanese nuclear meltdown are fully matched by the moral and man-made disasters in Libya and in Itamar, the West Bank town in which Palestinians slaughtered five members of the same Israeli family. In addition to the 35 and 36 year old parents, Udi and Ruth, the child victims were thee months old Hadas, 4 years old Elad, and 11 years old Yoav.

Palestinians were seen giving out candy to celebrate this Cowardly Kill. The President of the Palestinian Authority, Mahmoud Abbas, refused to condemn this cowardly attack. He mumbled something in English about “all violence leading to violence” which means the violence of the alleged Israeli “occupation” of the disputed territories is what caused these murders. Palestinian Prime Minister, Salam Fayyad, condemned the attack and, excellent propagandist that he is, insisted that “There ought to be no doubt on where we stand on violence. We reject it, and we have always condemned it.”
And my grandmother is a bicycle as they say. I really wonder what these Palestinian leaders have been saying in Arabic.

Arab and Muslim terrorists are Baby Killers. They kill their own in order to kill the babies of their enemies. The Taliban in Pakistan specialize in grooming 5-10 year old orphan boys to blow themselves up. Muslims, Arabs, Islamist terrorists in general, and Palestinians and Iranians in particular, brainwash, exploit, mere children and teenagers as jihadists and as suicide killers. Today, sickeningly, the western mainstream media, and some Jewish and Israeli anti-Zionists as well, are implicitly, essentially, blaming the settlers for their own murders! They are “settlers,” “radical settlers,” “living beyond the green line,” not human beings, not Jews, not Israelis, not even real victims. Real victims should not have been living there, their geographical presence comprises an (understandable) “provocation.” Similarly, women’s uncovered faces, infidel women especially, constitute a “provocation” too so that they have only themselves to blame when Allah-fearing Muslim men rape, gang-rape, and assault them. Real victims are the Palestinian terrorists who are forced to murder babies in response to being “illegally,” and immorally Occupied.

In its first piece about this crime, the New York Times characterized Itamar as “home to some of Israel’s most radical settlers.” Shoot that radical settler. No, stab him while he’s asleep in his bed, better yet, why not stab his whole family? The international community will not care.
Demonize settlers, isolate Israelis, insist that “Islamophobia,” not Islamic terrorism, is the problem, (do so in the American Congress), refuse to stop the wholesale slaughter of Muslims by Muslims (think Libya, think Darfur), instead, blame Israel because the Palestinians do not want a Palestinian state, lean on Israel to negotiate harder, give up even more, give up every city, including Jerusalem and then simply wait for the law-of-returning Palestinians to overcome the last “settlement” standing: Tel Aviv--do so, even as the entire Arab Muslim Middle East is exploding over non-Israel specific problems--and inevitably, the Palestinian fiends will be emboldened to act and will slaughter an innocent, peaceful Jewish family in their beds and of course, on the Jewish Sabbath.

The Effects of "Bad TV"
Israel Vision has always been blessed with talented young people in our production studio. This short film depicting the effects of TV was created and produced for an Israeli film contest by an up and coming young producer, editor and film-maker, Ilya Marcus.
Ilya is currently in film school, yet still works several hours each week as editor for Israel Vision productions. He is talented, creative and a very hard worker and is sure to do well in the film industry. You can see more of his work on his Vimeo Site.
