When watching the news it appears that the only problem in the world is Israel and the Jews~This is Wrong! 

Time and again the Islamists declare "first the Saturday people, then the Sunday people"...this is an age old chant clearly stating that once the Jews are eliminated~the Christians will be next! 

Jews have been almost totally cleansed from all Muslim countries and Christians are now the next in line. Communities that thrived for two thousand years, such as the Christian Copts of Egypt, are vanishing as people are faced with the choice to flee or die. In the west there are now Sharia courts, Islamic schools, No-Go Zones for Non-Muslims and an growing suppression of all things Christian (from a tiny gold cross to "Christmas"), because it offends Muslims~Why is there no outcry?

In Part 6, Dr. Rawlings examines the "false prophets", and the Islamic belief in a "false" messiah.

Much of what drives the Iranian quest for power is their belief system. At the core of this system is of course what they consider their holy book and the prophet Mohammed.

Much of what drives the Iranian quest for nuclear power and war is what Dr. Rawlings terms the "Spirit of Persia" or the Mahdi.  

You will see how scripture has foretold of these things and how the world will react and in fact we are seeing this now, in our times! More disturbing, is how the Islamic world is now claiming that when Islam becomes the "only" world faith, and Jesus (of the Bible) will embrace Islam, and turn against Christianity to "Break the Cross"!!

Part 3~Israel, Iran and The Bible: God's Prophetic Time Clock

We learned in Part 2 of the unique relationship between the Jews and Persians~and the unprecedented move by the Persian king~to allow the Jewish people to return to Jerusalem and rebuild the temple.

Now, in Part 3 we open the book of Daniel and examine the workings of the realms of darkness and light in the battle for the tiny Jewish nation.

In fact, one of the very first attempt at a "holocaust" took place when Haman tried to destroy all of the Jews. We learn of the relationship between the earthly and heavenly realms and spiritual and physical wars.

We are pleased to announce the completion of Jerusalem Vistas~Israel Vision's new Teaching DVD titled:

Kudos to the Governor of Arizona

I read this letter on Mesopotamia West. I am reprinting it for you to read. All around the Politically Correct world we are being denied the right to openly celebrate our Holidays and Holy Days. We are being forced to take the "Christ" out of Christmas, and the Menorah out of Hannukah because it may be "offensive to some cultures". I reject this completely. Christmas has always been the celebration of the Birth of Christ--End of Story. We must stand up and refuse to allow our history and Judeo-Christian faith to be erased. Merry Christmas to Governor Jan Brewer and all or our friends everywhere. Here is the Governors letter:

 

Dear Friends,
An Executive Order that I issued last year encourages the celebration of Christmas and Hanukkah and prohibits any censorship of these religious holidays.

As you may know, in the past, state and local officials in Arizona (and elsewhere) have attempted to strip both Christmas and Hanukkah of their meaning, including establishment of policies forbidding state employees from placing religious items of celebration at their desks, re-naming of Christmas trees as “holiday” trees, and renaming of Menorahs as “candlesticks.”

Under my administration, I will call things what they are...a Christmas Tree and a Menorah...and will gladly allow both Christmas and Hanukkah to be celebrated at the State Capitol. I encourage my colleagues and fellow elected officials to do the same.

Finally, during this Christmas season, make a difference in our community by volunteering your time or making a donation to a worthy cause. An organization that I support, Hope & A Future, is making a difference this Christmas by providing gifts and clothing to foster children. I encourage you to learn more about Hope & A Future and make a difference in our community through this charity or another charity of your choice.

Weekly Scripture Study~Genesis 23:1 to 25:18

Every week in Jewish synagogues around the world a section of the Torah (the five books of Moses) is read. This week the "weekly reading" is found in Genesis, chapters 23:1 to 25:18 and is called Chayei Sarah.

We begin by learning that Sarah lived 127 years and died in Kiriath arba, which is Hebron, in the land of Canaan (now Israel). Avraham negotiates with Ephron the Hitite to purchase Machpeilah "the double cave" or "the cave of the couples",  which is at the end of his field; for a full price saying to the people of Het "let him give it to me in your midst for burial property".  Although Ephron offered to give the land as a gift, Abraham insists on purchasing it, paying 400 premium silver coins. This is one of the three places which the nations of the world cannot accuse Israel and say, "You have stolen them." The three places are: the Cave of Machpeilah, the site of the Holy Temple, and the tomb of Joseph at Shechem.

After Sarah is buried, Avraham summons his servant and charges him with the mission of finding a suitable wife for his son Isaac. Abraham has his servant swear that he will not take a wife for Isaac from the local Canaanite women, rather, he sends him to Charan, his native land, to search for Isaac's wife.

Abraham's servant, Eliezer, is sent laden with gifts to Charan. At the village well, Eliezer asks G-d for a sign and decides that; when the maidens come to the well, he will ask for some water to drink; the woman who will offer to give his camels to drink as well, shall be the one destined for his master's son. Rebecca, the daughter of Abraham's nephew Bethuel, appears at the well and passes the "test". 

Eliezer is invited to their home, where he repeats the story of the day's events. Rebecca's family agrees that the match was divinely ordained, and consents to the marriage. Rebecca's family celebrates the engagement with Eliezer. Next morning,  he insists on immediately returning to his master, and after Rebecca agrees, the two set out for Canaan. There they encounter Isaac praying in the field. Isaac sees Rebecca, takes her into the tent  of his mother Sarah. And she  became his wife, and he loved her; and Isaac was comforted for the loss his mother.

Avraham Avinu~Hebron

Abraham takes a new wife, Keturah (Hagar) and fathers six additional sons, but Isaac is designated as his only heir. Abraham dies at age 175 (2123-1638 BCE) and is buried beside Sarah by his two eldest sons, Isaac and Ishmael.

In the final verses Ishmael's progeny are detailed. Ishmael passes away at the age of 137.

Next week we will read how Rebecca finally conceives, her difficult pregnancy, and the discovery that she has "two nations in her womb"
