Christian Group Finally Wins A Victory For Free Speech!

Christians in Toronto spoke out, and after a fight they have won their case. So just what is this about?

In Dundas Square there are many events that take place. For the past five years, a Christian organization called Voices of the Nations has held an event to "promote diversity within the Christian Community by showcasing its mosaic of fine arts and music" .

Suddenly in October of 2015, they were informed that they would not be issued a permit for their next festival because "praising Jesus in their song’s lyrics contravenes the city policy against “proselytizing.” 

*Proselytizing means to try to persuade someone to switch to your religious beliefs

Go back and read that again...they were denied a permit for their concert because they sang about Jesus! Now consider that they do not stop Muslims from setting up booths for the express purpose of “proselytizing” (ie) converting people to Islam. Likewise when Omar Albach, a Muslim University student blasted out the Muslim Call to Prayer, not only was he not stopped, he was not even warned by the police!

Whatever happened to Canada as a Free Country with Freedom of Speech??

Whether you are a Christian, Jew or do not hold by any faith at all this should cause great concern. If you are Christian this is a wake up call! Christians in the middle east are being persecuted and slaughtered for their refusal to turn their backs on Jesus. If  Christians in the west continue to placidly sit back and "hope it will blow over" you will soon find yourselves on the run just like your brothers and sisters in the middle east~and note that nobody is rushing to take them in as refugees.

The Muslim Brotherhood Must Be Eliminated...

From what I have been able to learn, it began with a taxi driver travelling on a street in Alexandria, Egypt. What happened next is disgusting, but typical. 

The driver had a Christian cross on his dashboard~because he was a Christian. Supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood (the ones who say they are so peaceful) spotted the cross and the rest is history...but not necessarily news.

The mob dragged him from his cab~a typical lynching. Judging from the blood, he died a horrible death. The "brothers" then proceeded to torch the cab.

This is not a "one of" situation! Christians are under attack in Egypt, and in every Muslim country. Islam does not tolerate anything other than Islam! They even kill each other. The only thing they know is brutal, barbaric slaughter. NO courts, NO trials, NO chance. That is Islam, and the top of the manure heap is the Muslim Brotherhood. They were at one time Banned~yes, Banned! Apparently some liberal decided that because the "brothers" were wearing suits they should be given a chance. Hows that working out now?

Islam is attacking, slaughtering and subjecting the entire middle east, bit by bit. The UN, EU, and USA are keeping very busy~attacking Israel~The Only Democratic country in the area~the Only country where all religions function openly, the Only country where women have full rights, and "Surprise" the Only country where refugees, Including Muslims are sneaking across the borders every day. So, just when will the world wake up? When will the church stop their attack against Israel and look at their own brothers being murdered on a daily basis. When will the Church stand up and say Enough!!  When???

From Sudan to Israel to Ethiopa to Canada...

Over five years ago, when Jay and Meridel were in Eilat a chance meeting introduced them to a very special young man from South Sudan, named Michael. They immediately “clicked”. As they spoke, Michael revealed an amazing story. Fifteen years earlier, he and his family were horrifically attacked by Muslim extremists~Simply Because They Were Christians.

As the village elders were slaughtered and burned, Michael and his only surviving cousin, Dobuol Bouy, hid in the bulrushes of a nearby riverbank. The next day he was forced to try to identify his parents but could not because they were so badly disfigured.

An officer in the conquering Muslim army held Michael and his cousin as virtual slaves. When the officer commanded them to convert to Islam, they said, “We will die first.” Seven years later, they escaped to Khartoum.

Penniless, they made their way 1600 kms (1000 miles) to Cairo. Michael and his cousin worked nights on menial jobs so they could study at school during the day. It was there that Michael met, and married Nicole, also a Sudanese Christian refugee.

All Sudanese refugees were harshly persecuted by the Egyptian Police who burned their hard earned identification papers. Seeing other refugees killed, Michael and his cousin decided to spend their last savings to try and reach the Israeli border in the Negev desert. Michael and Nicole (now pregnant), parted not knowing if they would ever see each other again. 

Escorted by Bedouin smugglers, amidst gunfire from the Egyptian police, they scrabbled over the barbed wire border fence and arrived in Israel battered and bleeding.

They soon learned that their fear of the Israeli Border Police was unfounded. They were given water, food and medical attention.

Finally, they were transferred to a holding center for refugees near Beer Sheva. Some time later they were sent to work in Eilat, Israel’s southern most tourist town.

The Hotel where they worked recognized their natural leadership qualities. Michael and his cousin were quickly promoted to positions as  department managers.

Meanwhile, Nicole, thin and malnourished, carried her newborn baby to the Israeli border. She crossed into Israel determined to find her husband.

Miraculously she was sent to Eilot Kibbutz five kilometers north of Eilat, and she soon found her beloved Michael.

 It was in the hotel where Michael and his cousin were working when Jay and Meridel met them. Since that time, they have been linked by the Lord in a powerful way. Immediately Jay and Meridel adopted them and became ”Abba and Ima” (Hebrew for Dad and Mom).

When Jay asked them “How can I help you the most?” They responded, “We would like to go to Canada. Can you help us?"

Jay learned of Canada's refugee and human rights resettlement program for which Michael, Nicole and family~including his cousin~certainly qualified. Thus began a long process at the Canadian Embassy in Tel Aviv~filling out numerous application forms, locating a sponsor church in Toronto and eventually getting scholarships for them to study in a college in Scarborough, Ontario. Jay also appealed to Ottawa for help.

Everyone waited, and waited, and waited some more~almost five years!

Finally in May 2013, an email from the Canadian Embassy in Tel Aviv arrived, asking for help in locating Michael, Nicole, the children and cousin Dobuol Bouy. Jay found Michael and Nicole in a refugee camp in Ethiopia and Dobuol Bouy in South Sudanl. We all wept when we heard each others voices.

The family are living under very difficult conditions. They are housed in a multi-family tent, with food and water rationed. Michael never asks for anything but only said, “Abba it is very hard here.” Jay and Meridel are sending what they can on a regular basis, but it is not enough. They need milk for the childrean and other basics. They also need to find money to purchase their tickets to Nairobi, Kenya. This is where the Canadian Embassy has a Visa Office. Their papers now have to be transferred from Tel Aviv to Nairobi. How long this will take~no one knows. They need miracles!

It is our goal to travel to the Ethiopian Refugee Camp where Michael, Nichole and their children are; to comfort them.

Once there, we will film them as they tell their amazing story, and show the world what conditions they are now existing in.

This could then be used not only as a teaching tool, but as a means for this family to finally achieve their goal~Freedom~to live, work, worship, study and raise their children without fear of persecution.

Want To Boycott Israel?? Some Things You Should Know...

Those calling for boycotts have an agenda~and that is to destroy Israel~to wipe her off the map. One of the most vocal leaders (Omar Barghouti) was born in Qatar (one of the world's wealthiest states) grew up in Egypt and only moved to Ramallah, West Bank, as an adult. At the same time he is demonizing and calling for a Boycott of Israel, Barghouti is studying for his Masters Degree in philosophy at Tel Aviv University (that's in Israel).

The Boycott movement is nothing more than hate and anti-semitism, in the guise of "palestinian" rights. The joke is that under the "PA" governed areas, the Arabs (and they are Arabs) have almost no freedoms, and suffer greater human rights violations than almost anywhere in the world. Boycotting industry in Judea and Samaria will actually deprive PA Arabs of well paying jobs and the rights that go along with them. Here is just one example:

The Palestinians working at SodaStream receive full social and health services in accordance with Israeli law. This includes pension contributions and insurance. Labor law in Israel requires an employer to pay wages and contributions four times higher than those required by the Palestinian Authority. In addition, SodaStream also provides benefits that include daily hot meals, clothing, transportation and overtime pay up to 200% as required by Israeli law. ***See 2nd Video Below

Nobody ever questions why more people under the authority of the PA want to obtain Israeli citizenship than those who want to stay in the PA areas. That's because in Israel, they have better treatment, lives, jobs, housing and rights than in in other Arab country~this is doubly true for women or any who are free thinkers.

Check the facts and you will find out that Jews and Christians are being driven out of every Arab (Muslim) country. Churches, Synagogues (or any other religion than Islam) are forbidden and persecuted. Once majority Christian areas are now almost totally cleansed, either by eviction through persecution, or forceful conversions.

So, next time you see a brilliant advertisement and information stand on the horrors of Israel, make sure you think twice before falling for the "PA" PR.

Living in the middle-east we are well aware of the systematic persecution of Christians. In every country (save one~Israel) Christians are slowly being eliminated. Under Islam, converting to another religion can result in jail or death. This is the reality,

On 14 January 2013, the criminal court of Beni Suef (115 km south of Cairo, Egypt) sentenced Nadia Mohamed Ali and her children Mohab, Maged, Sherif, Amira, Amir, and Nancy Ahmed Mohamed abdel-Wahab to fifteen years in prison. Seven other people involved in the case were also sentenced to five years in prison.

Born a Christian, Nadia had changed her religion to marry her husband Mustafa Mohamed Abdel-Wahab. After the man's death in 1991, Nadia decided to return to her religion of origins (to obtain her dues) and to convert her seven children.

After the conversion in 2004, Nadia and her children decided to replace their Muslim names on their identity cards with their Christian names and city of residence.** She was aided by seven Registry office employees. In 2006, one of her sons was arrested by police in an information center in the city of Beni Suef. Suspicious of the young man's documents (where he had changed its name to Bishoy Malak Abdel-Massih) police agents interrogated him for hours until he confessed his conversion to Christianity. The judges then decided to jail not only the woman, but all of her children and seven clerks from the registration office (who were responsible for changing the documents).

Conversions from Islam to Christianity were quite common in the past, but Nadia's case is just the beginning of the oppression of Christians. The fact is, now that Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood have made Sharia law an integral part of the new constitution Christians in Egypt, Christian believers are at greater risk than ever.

This documentary by Pierre Rehov investigates the plight of the Christians living in Bethlehem (now a majority Muslim city).

Sadly, since the making of this film, the Christians living in Bethlehem have been subjected to increased persecution.

The once vibrant Christian population living in the city where Jesus was born is rapidly disappearing. This is a phenomenon that takes place in every area where there is a majority Muslim population. Non-Muslims are marginalized and mistreated. Those who are able, flee. Those who remain suffer harsh treatment until they either convert to Islam or  are "removed".

In fact, the Palestine Authority has now made the declaration that the Baptist church in Bethlehem is unlawful, and will no longer receive rights as a religious institution. Where are the protests? Why is the UN silent? Why is the deliberate persecution of Christians in the Middle East being ignored?

Dear Friends, this is not a new film. The facts as presented are not only true today, but the situation is far, far worse. 

Now, in 2012, less than five percent of the citizens of Bethlehem are Christians! Bethlehem, once a Christian city is now under the Palestinian Authority and in a very short time it has become a Muslim city. 

Bethlehem, is systematically being cleansed of all Christian residents. Regardless of what the PA tries to tell you, being a Christian in a Bethlehem, (with a Muslim majority), brings threats, beatings and even death. Those who have not already fled, live in daily fear.

Please watch this film, listen to the truth from those who live in Bethlehem, and pray that these people will one day be free to live and worship in peace.

Persecution of Christians in Gaza & Palestinian Territories

Israel withdrew from Palestinian populated areas of the Judea, Samaria and Gaza. Instead of this being a good thing it has proven to be a disaster, and guess who is suffering? We know the Jews are unwelcome, but how many know that Christians are persecuted~suffering arrests, torture and even death for practicing their faith. 

Although the report lists Israel with the other Arab countries this is incorrect as the only place where Christians are not persecuted is in Israel proper. When Israel withdrew from Bethlehem the Christian population dropped from 80% to less than 15%~some say 10%.

Please listen to this report and consider what will happen if Israel is forced by the UN and the West to give up even more territory. Anyone who believes Christians will be allowed freedom need only look at the Copts in Egypt. More to the point look at the city of Bethlehem, now controlled by the Palestinian Authority.
