Israeli Soldiers Search a Pregnant Palestinian Woman

This clip was posted on Israel Matzav and is from 2005, but remains relevant today. There are those who try to make dark appear as light, right as wrong and good as evil. Please watch this clip--to the end--and read the translated text.

IDF Accused of Murder by Gas--Another Hoax!

Mother of Abu Rahma with Photo
Once again the Palestinians and their anarchist, anti-Israel groupies have managed to fob off another hoax on the world at large. On Friday, 01 January the weekly riots took place at Bilin, Samaria. The news reported that  Jawaher Abu Rahma, 36, had inhaled tear gas fired by the IDF and died as a result. The story was further played up with the claim that she was the sister of an Arab who was killed in Bilin in 2009 after being struck by a tear gas canister.

From the beginning the IDF had reservations about this case for several reasons, not least among them being that the initial facts surrounding the case were suspicious, and the PA medical authorities refused to allow accesss to any medical documents. In addition the IDF found that:

     1) The IDF used the same method of riot control for the past five years without incident
     2) Abu Rahma died at her home--After being released from hospital
     3) Abu Rahma was chronically ill with leukemia
     4) Abu Rahma was not event at the riot!

According to this report in Arutz 7, the IDF found that she did not die of tear gas inhalation but of cancer, and had been lying in a hospital bed for ten days prior to passing away.
Funeral Procession--Incitement?

Chief PA negotiator, Saeb Erakat had told AFP (and most likely anyone else with a camera): "We condemn this abominable crime by the Israeli occupation army in Bilin against people taking part in a peaceful demonstration and consider it an Israeli war crime against our people". Of course he does. What better way to incite even more hatred towards Israel. He does conveniently leave out the fact that photos  show this was an especially violent riot--but he probably did not stay around for the real action...see no evil...

Any death is a tragedy, and we do not downplay the grief in the loss of a loved one. But we do condemn the world press for  encouraging faulty, false reporting and incitement.  To allow the tragic death of a young woman to be used in this manner is unforgivable. But, after all, Peace does not sell nearly as many papers as riots, terror attacks and death--especially if Israel can be blamed.

Now, I urge you to pay attention to world news. Compare volume of the outcry  was when Israel was accused of murdering this woman--a war crime. Now listen for the outcry as the hoax is exposed--the silence is deafening...

Turkey Gets Apology from MK Danon

When the Mavi Marmara left Turkey it was to the screams of Kaiber, Kaiber el Yahoud, and multiple testimonies from terrorists hoping to get their 72 virgins. Nine of them succeeded and the fake peace mission was exposed. Since then we have had to listen to Turkey's PM, Recep Tayyip Erdogan ranting and raving every time a TV camera is in range. He wants compensation so high it will break the Israeli government, he wants sanctions, he wants apologies and on and on.

On Tuesday, Israeli MK Danny Danon of Likud gave him his “apology” via a letter he read aloud in the Knesset. It doesn't get much better than this...

To the Prime Minister of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan,
(by way of the Turkish ambassador to Israel)
Regarding: The request for an apology to the government of Turkey for the events aboard the Mavi Marmara of the Gaza flotilla.
I would like to apologize to you in the name of the entire state of Israel for the fact that the state of Israel did not take sufficient care to check the terrorist ship Marmara before it left Turkey. That would have prevented the ship from being armed with guns and other weapons, and from transporting terrorist activists under the patronage of the Turkish government.

Because of our excellent relationship, and your great respect for the state of Israel and the Zionist enterprise, I must apologize for the fact that the naval commandos who, when they reached the ship, were greeted by armed terrorist resistance that aimed to murder them did not immediately defend themselves with gunfire, and instead acted with restraint toward the pretend “peace activists” who sought to kill them.

Apologies for the fact that the commandos acted carefully, taking into account the presence of civilians on the ship, and killed only nine terrorists. If the state authorities had known that there were terrorists on the ship, the order would have been given to kill any person endangering our troops.

With your permission, one more apology is necessary, for Israel's decision to release the dangerous terror supporters who were on the ship and not put them on trial for attempted murder, and even to pay for their tickets home.

And finally, please accept our full and heartfelt apology, for not asking the United Nations to censure Turkey, and for not demanding an investigation into the connection between the IHH terrorist organization,  your party and you, Mr. Erdogan.

Warm wishes,
MK Danny Danon, speaking on behalf of the Israeli Knesset

Befriend a Soldier

YNet News has published an interesting article about a New Website Befriend a Soldier launched by former IDF soldiers aimed to connect discharged Israeli combat troops with the general population. It gives you, the general public worldwide, an opportunity to contact a former IDF Soldier and ask serious questions. I have met many young people who have done their service and feel strongly that the things they are exposed to on a daily basis are beyond what anyone should have to face.

Do look at their site, and by all means participate!  You will surely learn something and you might even make a friend. The link is:
